Delicate apricot flowers with five notched petals evenly distributed like the spokes of a wheel around bright orange stamens, gently bob on short fuzzy stems above deeply cut green foliage.

Much sought after for its unusual tone, this G. chiloense cultivar can be hard to find.  It combines so well with lots of other colours including whites, blues, purples and reds.  Showcase it in a pretty planter or grow in large drifts at the front of a border, where it will clump up quite quickly, helping to keep the weeds down.  It performs best in any reasonable soil in a sunny or partially shaded spot.
