This striking plant is a shorter, bushier variety of Linaria purpurea, with more side shoots. Green leaves smother the stems up to the fancy purple blooms that give a burst of colour during the summer.
Locations with full sun and a reasonable soil are the perfect conditions for ‘Freefolk Piccolo’ to brighten up your beds and borders. Great for gravel gardens and for underplanting roses. ‘Free folk Piccolo’ was bred and introduced by Hardy’s Cottage Garden Plants at the 2010 RHS Hampton Court Flower Show.
